Tomorrow is set to be the beginning of Stage One of the Alberta Relaunch Strategy. In stage one a good number of the businesses and services we are used to will be cautiously reopening. There are a number of measures being put in place to minimize the risk and keep the chance of infection low.
Stage 1 allows some businesses and facilities to resume full operations as early as May 14 with enhanced infection prevention and controls in place.
For those businesses that are opening and those that are part of later stages, the Government of Alberta has opened an portal designed to give all the information you need. Biz-Connect is a one-stop shop for resources to help keep you, your staff, and your customers safe. Another helpful document can be found here.
Valleyview's business community and our local governments responded well and responded early to the pandemic. Thanks to that we have fared relatively well. Please keep in mind that our actions have helped so far, a little more caution and we'll be welcoming Stage Two sooner rather than later.
